24 Katherine Parker from Studio PDX
Katherine is a yoga instructor, owner of Studio PDX, and co-owner of Yomassage. She grew up in Missouri and spent a few years in Austin, TX getting her degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern studies from the University of Texas. She loves practicing and teaching yoga and helping people feel confident and proud of their bodies. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, studying languages, reading thrillers, and watching her all time favorite show, The Office. She created 6 Weeks to Splits™ in 2017 and started teaching it at her first studio, My Yoga Room, in Portland, OR. When we got together, Katherine told me she was all set to go to law school and then one day walked by a little space for lease and decided it would be a great place for a yoga studio. Just like that, she opened a yoga studio and then decided it would be super awesome to design a yoga class where you get a massage at the same time. Thus, Yomassage was born.
